Is School Zero Waste??

Is Awapuni School Zero Waste?

I disagree and think that Awapuni school is not zero waste.
There is no way that school is zero waste, at all.

Firstly, no-one said anything about no plastic allowed in
school and even the principal Mr. Langford might even
bring some, like the other teachers.

Secondly, no-one in the school (apart from the teachers),
really knows about the carbon footprint, the pollution in our
oceans and the greenhouse gases and its power to destroy
glaciers and the antarctic icecap.

After all, the teachers tell people off for leaving their mandarin
peels on the ground, when they are actually biodegradable.
That means when something can rott into the ground/soil and
can work as compost.

In fact, Awapuni school is maybe a small bit less waste because
they recycle their milk cartons but that only doesn’t make them
zero waste. In short there are many ways Awapuni school can
do better to turn into a zero waste school.

  1. This is why I think my school is not zero waste, after an entire term of studying and learning.
